Let's get nostalgic as Retro-bit remakes the old-school Game Boy and recreates that classic experience with Super Retro Boy. A new backlit console for GB, GBA, and GBC cartridges. Bring new life to your favorite games with the #SuperRetroBoy! #RetroBit pic.twitter.com/cjVKuf0zsb— Retro-Bit (@RetroBitGaming) January 6, 2017 In the past year there's been a bunch of re-vamps and recreations in classic gaming, from the NES Classic Mini to a teeny version of the Megadrive, but this takes the cake. With a rechargeable battery and ten hours of battery life, a lot of classic gamers are going to be very happy. With a very similar design to the classic Game Boy, the Super Retro Boy isn't all over identical (for obvious legal reasons). With support for Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance cartridges, its layout is near perfect to the tradition device. That is, bar the fact Retro-bit has converted the L and R bumpers into face buttons alongside A and B on the front. I don't know how to feel about that.Coming to America this August, the Super Retro Boy is slated to cost about $79.99. Whether this'll be a country-exclusive or if the rest of the world will get it eventually we'll have to wait and see. Kairosoft has released a new game on iOS called Fish Pond Park. Android players got it a few months ago so, in fact, it's only new on iOS, really. It has you trying to turn a park into a "nature mecca" in order to turn a profit. This means supplying nature tours, building inns, and letting people go fishing.A cute touch is letting you participate in the fishing yourself with a mini-game. Just make sure you catch the largest fish possible in order to impress your guests.Outside of that, though, it's all business: research new entertainment, count your money, and spend it to make more. Usual Kairosoft game affair, then.Oh, and as an aside, Kairosoft has also put two of its other games on sale to celebrate the launch of Fish Pond Park on iOS.As such, you pick up Ninja Village for £1.49 / $1.99 (down from £3.99 / $4.99). While Grand Prix Story is down to 79p / 99c (from £2.99 / $3.99) right now.Anyway, back to the main event: you can purchase Fish Pond Park on the App Store for £2.29 / $2.99 right now....
