Today, however, Nexon has handed the mobile community something to chew on as they've announced their upcoming game Titanfall: Frontline, coming soon to all mobile platforms.Titanfall: Frontline is a strategy card game set in the Titanfall universe in which you'll assume the role of a brigade Commander, facing off against rival players in real-time, PvP combat. Use a deadly combination of powerful Pilots, Titans, and tactical Burn Cards in order to best your foes and turn the battle in your favour.Apparently Titanfall: Frontier is the first title in a multi-game, multi-year partnership between Nexon, Particle City, and Respawn Entertainment to exclusively publish Titanfall games for mobile. Looks like we have other titles to look forward to in the future.What's more, if you pre-register for the game now on their website you'll receive some lovely in-game rewards on global launch.Though no specific date has been announced just yet, Titanfall: Frontline is coming to the App Store and Google Play this autumn, so I'd be so bold as to say expect it around October for Titanfall 2's release. But don't hold me on my word.
It was only a fortnight ago that Lego Legacy: Heroes Unboxed was announced. But apparently, that simply wasn't enough Lego coming to mobile. Now we have Lego Star Wars Battles on its way too. It'll be a strategy game that's set to release on iOS and Android in 2020.Lego Star Wars Battles will be a deck builder/strategy game hybrid where players will create a deck using light or dark side characters and vehicles from all eras of the Star Wars universe. The aim of the game will be to create Lego towers and defend them so you can slowly gain territory over your opponent.This game mode will be available in one versus one multiplayer matches so you can take your strategy online to see how you fare against other people.Lego Legacy: Heroes Unboxed is a Lego-themed turn-based RPGAs mentioned it will feature characters from all nine saga films alongside Rogue One and The Clone Wars. This will give players a potentially gigantic roster to choose from covering characters as small as Porgs all the way to to the behemoths of the franchise like Darth Vader. Alongside the characters, the vehicles they drive will also make an appearance with everything from AT-ATs to the Millennium Falcon accounted for.Of course, in Star Wars the locations are almost as iconic as the characters that inhabit them. So it's good to see there's plenty of variety there too. As players win battles and level up they will unlock new arenas to fight in that are all based on famous Star Wars locations. A few of these locales include Hoth, Scariff and Geonosis.Lego Star Wars Battles will be available on both the App Store and Google Play sometime in 2020. Overhit has become the latest JRPG to have a huge update after Epic Seven altered its summoning system earlier this month. The update has already been rolled out so you'll just need to update your version of the game.There are multiple changes that have been made to the game. Firstly, they've added a whole new hero grade. All current Speciality Super Rare heroes such as Ludmila and Edmund can now be upgraded to SSR+. To mark this new tier there will also be two new heroes will be added. The first is Aizen, who is a monster hunter and Grey who appears kind on the surface but is hiding a darker side.There will also be two new event dungeons that will be available for a limited time. The first is called the Spacetime Rift dungeon, a PVE area where you'll take on enemies that have, unsurprisingly, come through rifts in time. Here you will be able to earn pendants, which heroes can now equip three of. The second is called Iroha's dungeon which will be timed and has three different levels to challenge yourself on.Finally, players will now be able to get SSR tier hero soul stones and pieces by combining two level 40 SSR stones. This should, in theory, allow players to get those higher tier heroes a little easier than before. It certainly seems like Nexon have put a lot of effort into this update, it will be interesting to see how it's received by long-standing players.If you're unfamiliar with Overhit but are on the hunt for a new turn-based JRPG and let's face it, there are a lot to choose from on mobile.
