Earlier this year we told you that you would be able to get a Serperior with the hidden ability Contrary, in Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby. And then, we had to break your heart and tell you that it was exclusive to Japan.

Well, sob no more. This overpowered critter can now be downloaded onto 3DS games in the US and Europe, using a very easy method.

Just load the game and choose 'Mystery Gift' from the main menu. Hit 'Receive gift', then 'Get with code', and then type in POKEMON497. Then load up your save game and go to a Pokemon Center. Talk to the girl by the desk to get your monster.

This Serperior carries the hidden ability Contrary which reverses the effect of stat changes. So when you cast Leaf Storm, you'll greatly increase your own Special Attack stat, rather than decrease it. Talk about formidable.

Other Pokemon Black and White starters will be available in ORAS, later this year. Emboar will appear January 29, and its code will be revealed on Pokemon.com. Samurott will be available from February 5 and the code will be in the Pokémon Trainer Club newsletter.

You've got until November 30 to cash in your Serperior.
biologicalunhappiness.com

Update on April 28 at 15:52: See, it wasn't a joke Windows users! The game's now yours to purchase for $4.99 and is absolutely worth it.
If you buy it on mobile, you'll even be able to play it on your Windows 10 computer for free.

Be warned though, the game's hard! Enjoy.

The Windows Phone marketplace can be tough for developers as Microsoft still has difficulties selling devices, even after making it easier than ever to develop for.

Still, now and again some developers do release their games on it and sometimes you'll also find some of mobile gaming's best.

If you've been using Game Center on the latest version of iOS, you might have been struck by a white screen that renders the app totally useless.

This bugs shows up for seemingly no reason and can be temporarily fixed by rebooting or restoring your iDevice but even that is bound to fail at some point.

You can trace that bug all the way back to iOS 8, where only a few people complained on Apple's forum but it's been a massive one since iOS 9 with plenty of users who couldn't launch any game that required a Game Center login at launch.

Some developers even patched their game specifically to avoid that check, showcasing how far they had to go because of Apple's mistake.

Despite all that, nobody seemed to care at Apple and iOS 9.1, 9.2 and 9.3 didn't fix the issue at all and Apple issued no explanation.

The latest iOS 9.3.2 beta, released yesterday to public testers and a few days ago to developers, seems to finally fix the issue though as some users are reporting that Game Center is finally working again.

A user even received a message from Apple Support saying:

"Engineering has implemented changes that are supposed to fix this problem. These changes are in the latest version of the software, iOS 9.3.2, build 13f51a."

We'll see if it turns out to be a fix for everyone and how long it lasts but this is quite unacceptable for any OS. iOS 9 was supposed to be a "bug-fix" first update and it seems it broke more than it fixed. Let's hope Apple will be faster next time.

"Well, Henry Hammond up at the Glen goes out doing jobs like that. He'll do, maybe. He's always a heap more interested in his wages than in his work, just like a man, and he's so slow in the uptake that he stands still for five minutes before it dawns on him that he's stopped. His father threw a stump at him when he was small.

A pre-registration page for the Mobile version of League of Legends briefly appeared in China and Brazil today. It has since been swiftly removed by Riot but speculation is now high that the announcement and pre-registers are likely to start tomorrow, which will mark the 10th anniversary of League of Legends.

Daniel Ahmad was one of the first industry analysts to comment, providing images that you can see below. He states in a follow-up Tweet that the gameplay will apparently be the same as the PC version but obviously, designed with mobiles in mind.
A pre-registration page for League of Legends Mobile went up in China earlier today. The link is no longer live. Perhaps it leaked early before the 10th anniversary stream tomorrow. pic.twitter.com/rM57hVlTos— Daniel Ahmad (@ZhugeEX) October 15, 2019Rod Breslau, an esports consultant, also Tweeted about the game with more speculative information stating that sources have told him there's more than a mobile version of League coming. He said they're also planning on launching a digital card game called Legends of Runeterra alongside an anime based on the League of Legends universe.

This somewhat contradicts Daniel Ahmad's Tweet where he says that Legends of Runeterra will be the name of the game in China. Either way, most people are agreeing that we'll probably find out more information during the 10th Anniversary stream.
Riot Games will announce a new digital card game titled 'Legends of Runeterra' during the League of Legends 10th Anniversary event today, sources tell me— Rod Breslau (@Slasher) October 15, 2019This stream is due to take place in the early hours of the morning for Europe at 3 AM CEST on October 16th. Meanwhile, North American viewers will be able to tune in at 8 PM CT on 15th October on the League of Legends Twitch channel.

Some leaked footage of the game surfaced on the internet back in August so we've been aware of the game's existence for a while now. However, how much of the above speculation is true remains to be seen. Though a reveal for the mobile version of the game during the 10th Anniversary stream would make logical sense.
Check out our news section to discover the latest, and greatest, games.
