Noodlecake is publishing the latest game from Pixelzapp, an indie developer that shows a lot of potential.

Its latest game is a gravity-defying platformer called Caterzillar in which you control Bob, a caterpillar that jumps from small rocks and planets to rescue his friends.

Bob's also collecting fruits along the way and must destroy the bad insects along the way:

There is no up or down in Caterzillar our new game from @Pixelzapp Games! Coming May 12th to the @AppStore. #gamedev pic.twitter.com/BPfIPQaHAN— Noodlecake (@NoodlecakeGames) April 27, 2016
I personally love the hand drawn art and can't wait to try it out.

The game's coming May 12th to the App Store and will be fully compatible with MFi controllers. It will feature 32 levels across four worlds which should keep you entertained for quite some time.

"I believe you half starve yourself most of the time down at that light," said Mrs. Doctor Dave severely. "You won't take the trouble to get up a decent meal."

Is Sony working on a glove controller? NeoGAF user Rösti seems to think so and has highlighted three detailed patent applications numbered 14/517733, 14/517741, and 14/503275.

Between the three patents the patents account for everything you would expect from a VR controller which would almost definitely be paired up with the companies PlayStation VR head mounted display.

While I want to holler "Powerglove!" out of my nearest window, it seems to be solely for the purpose of hand tracking, with a bunch of illuminated points for camera tracking, similar to the Playstation Move.

Here's the coolest thing: the gloves main purpose is to create "a virtual hand in a view of a virtual environment" with it acting in accordance with your finger positioning. This is useful if you need to say, swing a sword or point a gun.

From the look of things, the glove will have flex and pressure sensors on each individual finger as well as sensors to detect when your fingers are touching your palms or each other.

Obviously the best case scenario is for haptic feedback - allowing you to juggle objects with actual heft or actually grip a virtual doorknob and feel it in your hands. There's no real detail here on these parts, although the patents do indicate that the glove would be attached to a bracelet which might house some additional gizmos.

Obviously filing a patent doesn't say anything about Sony's intent to produce a thing, more that they've designed an object; but we can dream, eh?

Skandivania Games' top-down shooter Feral Fury will shortly be coming to iOS, hopefully sometime later this year. Before that can happen however it's going through another testing phase so eyes up – or down – and see if you want to give it a go.

A long, long time ago, humankind perished in the flames of one war too many. Now the Great Panda Empire and the Hellhog Horde are locked in an endless struggle for galactic domination. Feral Fury is a twin-stick shooter rogue-lite with 13 randomly generated stages split into five chapters, and pretty hardcore gameplay.

There are plenty of items to unlock throughout, including armour, weapons, and power-ups. By collecting orbs apparently unlocks and upgrades will be permanent. There will also be secret stages and hidden keys available to unlock special shops and merchants, and once a day you can take part in a Daily Run. These Daily Runs let you take on the leaderboard in a locked seed, having access to only three random items and plagued by one curse.

Though there's no definite date set yet for Feral Fury's release, its beta is currently live so head over to their page to sign up. Until then, we'll keep you updated.

There's a pretty cool update coming to Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise later this week as version 3.5 gets ready to touch down on iOS.

You'll know Agent A as a striking, 60s-esque, point-and-click puzzler, with all of the charm of your favourite classic spy films. The update may not be enormous in some of your eyes, but these additions will bring the game to another level.

Firstly, we've got a Spy Notebook coming. Whenever you see anything interesting in-game, you'll soon be able to open up your notebook and make a note of it. We've also got Haptic Feedback for key interactions to look forward to, and a Trevor sticker pack you can send off to your pals.

Finally there'll be a new chapter select, as demanded by Agent A fans worldwide. Soon, you'll be able to pick and choose your favourite chapters to play through without the fuss.

Speaking of chapters, we may not know the exact date of Chapter 4 just yet, but the name will be: A Narrow Escape, and will be out later this year.

Grab the game on the App Store for £2.99/$2.99 if you haven't got it already.

If you're not familiar with The 7th Guest already you'll probably laugh at it if you play its new remastered version that's just been released.

It was released on CD-ROM back in 1994 and mixed a lo-res images of a computer generated mansion with live-action movie clips.

It's certainly a relic of its time. But if you can look past that, or if you're operating entirely on nostalgia, then you'll find a mystery adventure to get stuck into

You enter Henry Stauf's creepy mansion to find out what happens in there. To public knowledge, six guests have entered since it was abandoned, and they never left.

Being a master toy maker, Stauf's mansion is full of puzzle boxes and little gizmos to solve. The puzzles are probably going to be what pull you in, if anything.

This new remastered is exclusive to Android (at least for now). Most importantly, it adds hotspots to scenes so you don't have to tap every pixel during searches.
