It's set to eventually release on both iOS and Android. You can register for the beta on the official site now so long as you're on Android, Apple users will have to wait for now. Registrations are open until 22nd August.</p><p>The game itself will aim to be an authentic Mega Man experience, taking on the form of a side-scrolling shooter with all the jumping, climbing and dashing you'd expect. Despite being a 2D perspective the game was developed in 3D in an attempt to give players a greater feeling of depth in combat.</p><p>Whether or not a true Mega Man experience can be achieved on mobile remains to be seen. But based on the incredibly brief gameplay trailer that you can see below, it at the very least looks lovely.</p>
<p>Fresh out of E3, Ubisoft has a shiny new trailer for Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle Donkey Kong Adventure for Switch, to whet our appetite before it releases on June 26th.</p><p>The E3 trailer doesn't show us any gameplay, but it does give us a cinematic view of what a number of the levels might look like, including a dark and glowing jungle temple far underground.</p><p>The Rabbids and Donkey Kong will team up to smash, jump, swing, and blast their way through a variety of levels and enemies.</p><p>Missed the other announcements from E3 2018? Catch up with our handy list to every reveal on Switch and mobile. </p><p>Nintendo has announced that the standard-sized New Nintendo 3DS will be available in North America starting September 25th.</p><p>Previously, only the New Nintendo 3DS XL has been available in the region. Meanwhile, both the standard-sized version and the XL version has been available elsewhere in the world.</p><p>It'll be available in North America as a special bundle that'll cost you $219.99. That gets you the New 3DS, a copy of Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, two cover plates, and an amiibo card.</p><p>Unfortunately, reservations for the bundle are already sold out. So if you want one you'll have to hunt around after the release date.</p><p>In related news, Nintendo has announced a "Hyrule Edition" New Nintendo 3DS XL (note that this is for the big 3DS). It is gold-colored and features an intricate Hylian Crest on the front.</p><p>It'll be available exclusively at GameStop starting October 30th at $199.99 (although it's being sold for more than that at the moment).</p><p>That date has been decided upon to coincide with the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes. However, you don't get the game with your order of the 3DS XL.</p>

The publisher seems to have a fair few Nintendo Switch games to share at Europe’s biggest video game event of the year.</p><p>In a new Gamescom teaser, Soedesco revealed they’d be showing two new Nintendo Switch games at the show that have yet to be announced. Lucky Gamescom attendees will be able to get a first peek at the new titles. Soedesco will also be showing Owlboy.</p>
<p>Spot It! Duel is an intriguing match-stuff puzzler based on the popular Dobble board game. And it's set to launch worldwide on the App Store tomorrow, June 28th.</p><p>The game features a number of different modes, but the core of the play is all about matching things. Arena mode sees you taking on players from around the world. You've got a disc of symbols, they've got a disc of symbols, and there's a third disc of symbols you need to match with.</p><p>You can collect different Dobbles, the podgy stars of the show, and each of them has a different power they can use to change the swing of play. Some add extra symbols, others slow time. It's all about experimenting and seeing which character works for you.</p><p>There's also a Challenge mode that lets you play on your own. Here you can smash through the classic Dobble experience, as well as trying out different variations of solo play.</p><p>Spot It! Duel will land on the App Store tomorrow. Keep your eye on Pocket Gamer and TableTap for a review and some hints and tips in the coming days.</p><p>Sony has taken the old chestnut that "virtual reality games can't be social," sniffed it suspiciously, and tossed it over its shoulder straight into the bin.</p><p>At its E3 press conference, it revealed that Project Morpheus will support four way local multiplayer - meaning blocking out the world with a pair of giant goggles won't be as anti-social as it sounds.</p><p>So, if you're sat on a sofa with three other friends, each with Morpheus headsets, you can play the same together in the same way as if you were holding a normal peripheral.</p><p>To prove the point, the Sony clever clogs also pulled the curtain back on Rigs - a 3V3 multiplayer arena brawler.</p><p>The clip was brief and the details scarce, but first impressions look good, and it marks the first game of its kind to be unveiled for Project Morpheus.</p><p>Fingers crossed that more titles in the same vein will follow shortly.</p>
